Thompson Hine is seeking a talented and experienced retail leasing attorney (either an Associate or Counsel) to join our dynamic Real Estate practice group in any of our Ohio offices. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in retail shopping center leasing.  

Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors.  The anticipated salary range for this position is $175,000 - $220,000.

Associate Level:
Candidates for an Associate level position should have 5 – 8 years of experience handling retail leasing transactions. Experience should include drafting and negotiating leases, subleases, amendments, and related documentation. Familiarity with landlord and tenant representation, lease enforcement, and ancillary real estate transactions is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials, strong analytical and writing skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple leases efficiently. A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong client and team relationships are essential.

Counsel Level:
Candidates for a Counsel level position should have at least 8 years of experience in retail leasing, with a proven track record of managing complex leasing transactions for a diverse client base. Experience should include significant responsibility for negotiating and drafting retail leases, as well as advising clients on lease administration, compliance, and dispute resolution.
