Thompson Hine is seeking a counsel or partner level health and welfare attorney to join its esteemed Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice group.  The attorney can be located in our Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Atlanta, or Washington, DC offices. Remote candidates will be considered on a case by case basis. Experience providing advice to businesses on all aspects of health and welfare plans, including wrap plans, cafeteria plans and flexible benefits arrangements; Affordable Care Act, COBRA, HIPAA, Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, TiC and CAA 21 compliance; drafting and negotiating service provider agreements; and resolving issues relating to administration of health and welfare plans is required.  The ideal candidate will have strong experience providing proactive advice to employers on a wide range of compliance and litigation issues affecting health and welfare employee benefit plans.

A superioracademic record, strong work ethic, and excellent writing and research skillsrequired.
