Thompson Hine LLP seeks an associate for the Personal & Succession Planning practice in the firm’s Columbus office.  The Personal & Succession Planning practice serves national and international clients and works collaboratively with other practice groups throughout the firm.  The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:  estate planning for high net worth families, private foundations and family offices, business succession planning,  and charitable giving strategies.  Candidates must possess outstanding academic credentials and work experience, a strong work ethic, excellent drafting and communication skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to develop leadership skills.  An LL.M. in Taxation is a plus.

Corporate (Investment Management) Associate

Thompson Hine LLP seeks a mid-to-senior level associate to join its national Investment Management practice.  The position will be located out of any of the following offices:  Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, or Washington DC.  The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience working on matters related to the investment management field, such as registered funds, ETFs, hedge funds, and investment advisors.  Additional experience with broker-dealers is a plus.  A superior academic record, strong work ethic and excellent writing skills are required.
