Thompson Hine LLP seeks 2Ls for its 10-week summer associate program in the firm's Ohio offices during the summer of 2020.  Summer associates will gain exposure to a variety of practice areas, such as Business Litigation, Product Liability Litigation, Corporate Transactions & Securities, Real Estate, and Construction.  Outstanding academic credentials, excellent writing and research skills, a strong work ethic, and the drive to foster strong client relationships are required.  Participation in extracurricular activities, such as Law Review, journals, and/or moot court/mock trial is strongly preferred.  Required materials include a letter of interest, resume, and transcript.  Please indicate office preference in the cover letter.  To apply for the Diversity Scholarship, please complete the Diversity Scholarship section of the application and attach a personal statement.  Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a continual basis until all positions have been filled.

Thompson Hine LLP seeks an associate to join its growing Intellectual Property practice.  This position may be located out of any of the following offices: Atlanta, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, New York, or Washington D.C.  Applicants preferably should have 2-5 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience and be registered to practice before the USPTO.  The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or closely related field.  Patent prosecution experience in the areas of semiconductor, virtual reality, or alternative reality is strongly preferred.  A superior academic record, strong work ethic, and excellent research and writing skills are required.
